Unlocking Potential: FSU’s Graduate Student Resource Fair Promotes Success

Florida State University recently organized the Graduate Student Resource Fair, where around 250 new and returning scholars received assistance to take initiative in their paths toward achievement.

Facilitated by the Office of the Provost’s Graduate Student Resource Center (GSRC) and the FSU Career Center, the fair linked graduate students with over 20 campus and community service providers and promoted networking among students from diverse colleges and departments.

“A significant indicator of graduate student achievement is persistence — remaining in school and completing a degree,” stated Emily Leventhal, director of FSU’s Graduate Resource Center. “What we understand is that persistence isn’t solely about being determined; it’s influenced by the communities with which graduate students engage — their academic programs, professional networks within their fields, and personal connections. The annual GSRC Resource Fair enables graduate students to establish new connections to the FSU community and equips them with resources to support themselves throughout their journeys.”
