A hazardous activity group referred to as ShadowSilk has been linked to a recent series of assaults aimed at governmental organizations in Central Asia and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
As reported by Group-IB, almost thirty victims have been recognized, with the breaches primarily focused on data extraction. The cybercriminal collective exhibits shared tools and infrastructure similarities with efforts carried out by other threat actors.
